Hello lovely Lotters, It been a busy day clearing out and selling to give my christmas fund a bit of a boost. i'm pretty pleased that I now have enough put aside to buy the girls a bike each. Plus i got ahead on the housework which means i can crochet the day away until it's time to take my niece to see her mum in hospital I'm working on two sophies Universe Blankets at the moment and havent had much time to spend on them over the last week. so a yarn day is well overdue. I hope you've all been well over the last day or two. sorry it's another waffly post fingers crossed I'll have something interesting to say soon :D

I'm about half way through them now. they are huge complicated projects my first one took 4 months to finish.

@kevin1877uk I've never measured them to be honest. This is the my first one it sits nicely on top of a double bed. one of the ones i'm making now is for a kingsized bed and the other is for a single.
only 5 parts of this left to go now. I think I'll be at a bit of a loss when I've finished.

I feel well now, but I have pretty busy days, not enough time to enjoy this site. I am sure the girls will be excited with their new bikes.

i am glad that you figured out some money to buy bike for both the girls. i am now figuring some money to buy a gift to my friend in US Hey do you know what will be the courier rate for international shipping?

international shipping can be hugely expensive but it depends on the company you use and where you are sending it. If i'm buying gifts for a friend in the states I usually order online from an american shop and have it delivered to them.

@rahulvsmokiee you would have to get a price from a company near you then. I hope it isn't too expensive for you.

Sorry .... I am not familiar with the phrase " Clear out " .....I am more a " Lets keep it for 20 years to see if it ever comes in useful " sort of a person.!!! Lol I'm pleased that I have finally found out on here. I will catch up on your posts x

Lol, i did exactly the same until recently a friend put me on to the Kon Marie method. It's changed my outlook and my house.
