Right it has been decided, team Connor are going to aim to get to Disney in 2017, but the question we now need to answer is should we go for some summer sun or Halloween. It is a long time since I have been in Florida during the summer months, the last few trips have been during February or October when it is cooler, but is it time to experience a different time of year. The big advantage of going for Halloween is the food and wine festival is also on in Epcot so you get double the fun and get to sample lots of tasty treats. The down side is that we would only have a week due to the school holiday and the UK to Florida is a long way to travel for just one week. If we went in the summer holiday it would be hotter and wetter, but we would be able to go for two weeks, I am leaning towards going in October for Halloween as we had an amazing time last time we did it but wanted to get you guys opinion. I have attached a Halloween picture of Sophie and Lily in Disney, they were so small back then, next time we go they will be 10 and 8, boy how time flies.

I LOVE to go to Disneyworld in Florida, we tested several times of the year. Summer is too hot, February can be pretty cold, but November and March are wonderful months. November is usually more quiet. So go at the end of October and stay until the beginning of November.

@mrtoffee It is so hot that you would not enjoy the park, July and August should be avoided.

I have gone in all four seasons with the spring and fall being my favorite times to go. The summer is hot and full of tourists while spring and fall are much cooler with fewer tourists.

That sounds like so much fun! I live about an hour away from Disneyland in California, and it is so expensive! Some of my kids have never been.

Disney world is great fun @cpefley but like you say it is mega expensive, which means we generally have to save solidly for two years to go, it's worth it though as it is such a lovely family holiday.
