My son loves deviled eggs so I try to make them whenever i can, usually for holidays. I hate peeling the eggs too.lol. I bought a special egg holder just for these things. I was so excited.lol. My way of making them is probably wrong but all I do is mix the egg yolk with mayo,a little salt, a little pepper, a little onion powder, a tiny bit of mustard, and maybe some garlic.

I got the container at the dollar store. Its clear so it doesn't photograph well. But I took a pic anyway. I boil eggs weird and I don't know if it helps or not, but I put the eggs in a pan of water and when it boils rapidly, I cover them and turn the stove off. I let them sit for at least 15 minutes. Then I cool them beofre I cut them. I cut them long ways.

I know of a great recipe for deviled eggs. I miss eating those things! I used to see them at get-togethers all the time but not so much anymore!
Basic Deviled Eggs Recipe:
12 large eggs
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 1/2 tablespoons mustard
Salt and pepper
Paprika
Place eggs in a saucepan with water to cover plus 1 inch. On medium-high heat, bring the eggs to a low boil. After 15 minutes from the time they start to boil, remove the pan from the stove and run cold water directly on the eggs for a few minutes. Peel under cold running water, also.
Halve the eggs lengthwise. Remove the yolks, place them in a small bowl, and mash them with a fork. Add mayonnaise and mustard, salt and pepper to taste. Mix well. Spoon the mixture into the egg-white halves. Garnish each with a sprinkle of paprika, a parsley sprig, or as desired and voila! The Deviled Eggs Recipe come to life. Makes 24 appetizers.
Note: A bed of decorative lettuce leaves or alfalfa sprouts will keep the eggs from sliding around a platter or shallow bowl.
Try one of these options:
Substitute sour cream for the mayonnaise.
Substitute mustard with Dijon mustard or spicy brown mustard.
Add one of the following to the filling: 2 finely chopped green onions, 2 tablespoons minced parsley, 1 tablespoon chopped chives, 1/2 cup chopped shrimp, crab, or salmon, 3 tablespoons crumbled blue cheese, 1/2 cup chopped olives, or 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese.
Reduce mayonnaise to 1/3 cup and add 3 teaspoons cider vinegar and 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce.
Low cholesterol deviled eggs: Discard all but 2 whole egg yolks. Chop 8 egg-white halves (4 whole egg-whites) and mash them with the remaining egg yolks. Cut the mayonnaise to 1/4 cup and the mustard to 2-3 teaspoons, according to taste. Prepare as directed above. Makes 16 appetizers.

We always have deviled eggs for get togethers. My husband has me make them for him often. I boil the eggs and peel them. I mix the yolk with mayo, mustard, salt & pepper. I put the mixture in an icing bag and pipe it into the eggs. It takes more time but it is less messy and pretty. Then I will sprinkle with paprika.
If you are looking for an easy way to peel eggs. There is a product called eggstactor and it works well.

I like deviled eggs, I usually am the one to make them. They are a regular for us. I boil the eggs, then peel. Cut in half long way. Then mix the yolk w/mayonaise. Put a bit of mustard in it then spoon it in the center of the egg. Then sprinkle w/paprika.

i hate mustard with a passion, but ive come to realize that deviled eggs just arent the same with out it!

Thats been a family favorite since I was a little girl.. now my kids love them..
I boul the egg, peal, then slice them in half. remove yolks and add to bowl, add mayo and mustard, mix it up and then place the mixture into the prepared egg whites.. top with the pepperika and their ready.. Mostly we make them on holidays but sometimes my fiancee or kids will want them made with dinner or just as a snack...my fiancee, when he makes them he will put pickle relish in the egg mixture..
