Disney Films!

I was born in 1989 and as far as entertainment goes, was raised on Super Mario, Sonic The Hedgehog, Spiderman and most importantly, Disney.
As a little girl, I was instantly drawn to fairytales, enchanting songs and happy-ever-afters. My all time favourite Disney films have to be the hand-drawn classics such as Pocahontas, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid and The Lion King.
I know just about every Disney film made between 1989 and 1997 word for word, lyric for lyric and I am really very proud of it!
As each film was released, a set of special Barbies were made to look like the main characters and sold to little fanatics like me so I could 're-create the magic' right in front of my very eyes. I remember having Aladdin, Jasmine, Ariel, Eric, Pocahontas and John Smith to name just a few. Ultimately, all of the princesses ended up having their hair cut off.
And the songs! The ballads are beautiful and the lively songs are uplifting. If you play one of them in my presence I will, without a shadow of a doubt, sing my heart out. And I might even dance if I think it is appropriate.
Those films remain an important part of my life. Even now as a 26 year old woman, I can quite happily sit and lose myself in the magic that is Disney.

The new Cinderella is a good movie. Great updated version. Don't you just hate the evil Step Mother and Step Sisters.

I was born in 1980. I also loved Disney movies. I have still a lot of them. I think my favorite would have to be Beauty and the Beast.

Hey, I am 30 years older than you and I still love watching Disney films. Jungle Book, Pinnochio and Dumbo are some of my favourites. So what we gonna do? I dunno, what you wanna do?

I'm 28 and I still love watching all the old Disney films. I do like some of the new ones, but I feel they don't have the same magic or spark as the old ones. I also know most of them word for word. It's not sick, it takes talent!
