Exhausted

I haven't been sleeping very well at all recently, I can't pin point a reason for this. I have had people asking me on the school run if I am ok, because I looked so tired and run down. I will go to bed ok mostly, then I will wake, and not go back to sleep for a long time, or I will toss and turn all night. I wish I knew what was causing it. I am not consciously aware of a reason, but perhaps there are things in my subconscious. Do you suffer with you sleep? Any advice would be gratefully received.

I don't sleep all that well at any time, so I am so sleepy most of the time. I end up falling asleep on a whim, which I wish didn't happen, but it does more than I want it too. I don't know if it is my age or what, but it is just happening way to much, as I will go to bed, and toss and turn, and just not sleep like I should. I hope that it changes in time though.

I am also have problem going to sleep at night. If I do get to sleep it will only be one two hours before I get up again. The whole day I'll be drowsy and can't do any thing around the house. I try to take afternoon nap to compensate for the loss of sleep.

It's past my bedtime now, so I haven't really the time to give you a considered response. One quick tip I can give you is if you try sleeping on a cliff edge, you'll soon drop off. Poor joke, I know, but it's late is my excuse. I've just thought of another, but I'll save it for later. Hope you get a better night's sleep tonight.

Honestly I have not slept good in years, I do not get much sleep, not much I can do about it. I always worry at some point it will get the best of me.

I had the same problem, but solved it by checking food and drinks I had up to 4hrs before, especially fizzy drinks...

Maybe it's time for a checkup with a doctor? Whenever I can't sleep, I don't force myself to sleep. I read for a little bit until my eyes are weary. And actually, that helps me to sleep. I don't know much about your case but maybe you are suffering from insomnia and therefore would need to consult an expert. All the best!
