For a long time i had my green hooded lady as my avatar . But when i had my recent selfi , i decided to change it into that - my real me.

See it does make difference.it may be difficult for us to recognise.

I normally don't change my profile picture because I guess I just dont care enough to. I used to on Facebook but I have been weaning myself off of it. I do like your new profile picture its bright and cheery

i recognized this since yesterday (or the other day) because you used it in another post. but earlier today i think i saw another avatar with a bigger sunflower.

I was thrown at first that you changed your picture. The sunflower is nice but I'm used to seeing your smiling face and of course your furbaby too

i go through phases where i might change it a lot, i might not! :-) right now i kind of like my silly photo of me in a bumble bee suit. so it might stick for awhile.

HaHa I was just laughing at this one. Yesterday a company I work for asked me to use a new profile image. I didn't have time to run out and get one. So I found a great one from the Grand Canyon and cropped it to use for my profile. While I was at it I decided to do one here. Now today I see there are several people on the site who have new avatars. I had to laugh at this one. You are right you did throw me off at first when I didn't see Ruby in the photo. But the sunflower is great and it is a nice change for you.

I haven't change mine but your photo with your lovely dog is better for your profile picture I should have my cat in my profile too.

I have the same avatar I had with old account. But my display name keeps on changing

I have not changed my avatar yet because I am still waiting for my yellow bell plant to flower so my former friends can recognize me. The photo of that flower was the profile photo I used in a site that closed last November.

Never used a photo. My Celtic knot peace sign has been the second I have used. I first used a globe and it was tiny and you couldn't see it very well. That was nearly eight years ago.

I think many people (and I am guessing, based on my own feelings) identify another writer by their profile picture. When that picture keeps changing, it is a bit unsettling, because the "identity" changes! So, I stay with mostly the same picture, and really think that most people don't prefer changing identities, but maybe I am mistaken.

I have only been on here a few days and haven't even put a photo of myself ( or anything else ) on yet. I don't expect to change it very often though when I do put one on !
