I'm lost and confused in myLot

Why you ask? (come on, please ask!)....anyway, I changed my profile photo and now I don't even recognize myself. I have used the photo of myself and my Abby for a long time and it's strange not to see it. I don't know how long I'll keep the sunflower, maybe a day or two before I switch back to the more familiar photo. Do you change your 'photo' often?

I normally don't change my profile picture because I guess I just dont care enough to. I used to on Facebook but I have been weaning myself off of it. I do like your new profile picture its bright and cheery

i go through phases where i might change it a lot, i might not! :-) right now i kind of like my silly photo of me in a bumble bee suit. so it might stick for awhile.

HaHa I was just laughing at this one. Yesterday a company I work for asked me to use a new profile image. I didn't have time to run out and get one. So I found a great one from the Grand Canyon and cropped it to use for my profile. While I was at it I decided to do one here. Now today I see there are several people on the site who have new avatars. I had to laugh at this one. You are right you did throw me off at first when I didn't see Ruby in the photo. But the sunflower is great and it is a nice change for you.

@AbbyGreenhill Yes I agree with you on this one. The first image was my passport image and one I needed to use for certain businesses I work for. Now one of them asked me to change it out yesterday. So I cropped this one and used it. So far so good and they have accepted it. I personally don't like to take so many images of myself either and therefore I don't have a lot of pictures of me. I would rather take them of others and not of me.

I have not changed my avatar yet because I am still waiting for my yellow bell plant to flower so my former friends can recognize me. The photo of that flower was the profile photo I used in a site that closed last November.

Never used a photo. My Celtic knot peace sign has been the second I have used. I first used a globe and it was tiny and you couldn't see it very well. That was nearly eight years ago.

@LeaPea2417 Yes, I did write about Abby and I also 'stole' her name! We got Ruby from your state, so she's a little peach!

I think many people (and I am guessing, based on my own feelings) identify another writer by their profile picture. When that picture keeps changing, it is a bit unsettling, because the "identity" changes! So, I stay with mostly the same picture, and really think that most people don't prefer changing identities, but maybe I am mistaken.

I think people, especially those who wrote at a site that required a 'professional photo and name' don't change their for the reason you state. Speaking of names, yours is familiar.

I have only been on here a few days and haven't even put a photo of myself ( or anything else ) on yet. I don't expect to change it very often though when I do put one on !
