My 10,000 Challenge

I started my £10,000 Challenge at the beginning of November with just 19p and on 17th November i wrote the update linked below.
I have been working quite hard at this challenge by selling some more items on facebook and doing surveys daily.
I am pleased to say my savings balance is now up to £198.56 - thats almost 2% of my target already and i am very happy with how its going so far. I am managing to be pretty strict about all online earnings going into the savings account so far - i really need to keep that up.
My next target is £250

I think this is a good idea and should probably start something like it, it worries me we have no savings.

@TrulyQrirkyMe We are still working on that, totalled our second car over a year ago, and yeah have to have 2, no public transit, we both work, and it would be impossible to share a ride. he works 7am to 7am, and I work 6 am to 5pm.

Yes i was worried about it too - i spent several years sorting out debts which i have now done and so its definitely time to get the savings thing sorted!

Yes it really does help with the motivation when you can see progress - that is why i wanted to write about how i am doing!

Yes i think it is important to break it down to smaller goals and celebrate reaching those along the way!

Yes indeed sometimes it takes time for me to hit them as well - i guess the trick is to not make them so hard to reach it takes too long and doesn't help to motivate you eh?
