Sweeble - Here Is The Truth

I have read several discussion about who really own the site Sweeble.com. As I am determinate, this morning I decided to go through the official Internet organizations to check the truth. The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) confirmed that the site is still in the name of Sue Greenwood. After checking several others sites, I entered in my browser sweeble.com and I landed on the blog of Sue Greenwood, who says that she has nothing to do with Bubblews, Arvind Dixit or Jason Zuccari, she did not sell the site. So what about Arvind and his band? They had to change the name of their app and their site name now is Sweebleapp.com. Let's see what happens next, because Sue is considering to relaunch Sweeble and she has not allowed others to use this name. Now you know, they did not buy the name nor the site, it was one of the many lies.

It's a wise decision, I did the same, but there was an open discussion about Sweeble and I was not sure that what it was said was in fact the truth.

@BelleStarr It's not jut about Bubblews. It's about the internet and the law in general. It can be frustrating. A lawyer friend told me about a woman who embezzled about $300,000 from one of her clients (this case didn't involve the internet). The woman was never charged because the DA in that County was "too busy." She's still out there doing her thing.

But did they claim that they bought it? Or that they had reached an "agreement"? Does "agreement" to them mean a kind Grandma saying, "Do what you will, boys. But don't use the name 'Sweeble'"?

NO they did not reach an agreement, they did not even contact Sue directly. She still owns the site and the right to the name, as she registered it first. Check Sue site.

It´s a shame how we were all convinced that Arvind was a boy genious, nice and good as homemade bread! He has no morals and the worst of it is that he knows how to sell himself.

You are right, I am so deceived by this guy. In the beginning I thought that some mistakes were due to his young age, bad judgment.

The more that is discovered about them, the worse it gets. They have no conscience.

They are still keeping their feeble company as close to the name of hers as possible which is silly - a bit like opening a chicken shack called Zen-Tucky Fried Chicken

I don't think any of their antics surprise me much. How often will they go back to the well before they finally get into some real trouble.?

This really makes me feel like they are a band of thieves, and I hate to think of what else they are into. And just to think that we all wrote and commented and liked just to line their pockets.

@Namelesss it would make sense, seeing as he changed it that late in the game. honestly, the whole thing gave a bad impression of him

@LadyDuck I remember seeing that too but my take was that he had made an agreement in court not with Sue. That agreement might have been to change the name. Okay, now I'm done. I think.

I read Sue's blog too. Arvind and his mates have a hide don't they, merrily going along with virtually stealing someone else's site name.

I read on the BBB website (I think) that Arvind was sued by Sue. They were a bunch of losers. But they gave away money like candy for a couple of years.

Why didn't they just change the name? It would have been much easier! Especially since the name itself doesn't say anything, and would not be at the top of a search engine I wouldn't think.

@jstory07 @ThankyouLord I suppose that for some reason they liked both the name and the old Sweeble site started by Sue Greenwood and though it was a great idea to use this name.
