Yes! I want my mother-in-law dead. Last Saturday is my mother-in-law’s birthday. Her cancer re-occur last 2013 after being inactive for 7 years. Like what I have said on my previous discussion, insurance is an essential nowadays and being sick can make the whole family broke. When the cancer re-occur it jumped off to the last and critical stage... stage 4. All chemotherapy, radiation therapy and even ambulance was covered by her insurance in America. All where done to her but her body quit responding for betterment of her being. She do not want spend a day to hospice care and she wants to go back to Philippines for her last days. She arrived safe and sound and we love minute we were together with her. But on her final days, I can see through her eyes the pain (gosh want to cry). I am praying to just pull her out of the misery. To stop the pain, to stop the crying. After almost 3 weeks (7th February 2014), she was welcomed on the hands of our Almighty! I only got a chance to mingle with her for 3 years as her daughter-in-law. I am thankful for even for a short time, I got the chance to be with her. She is indeed an awesome woman. I miss her.
Friday, August 9, 2013 My Insanely Awesome Mother-in-Law Its very hard to please everbody... most specially mothers-in-law. If you will search the internet about MIL, you will see how many rants the daughters-in-law to their second mothers. And ang tanging

When i read your post I was reminded of my aunt who passed away under similar circumstances after suffering through bone cancer , she could neither sit nor move because her bones were paper thin and she was in so much of pain , that we all wished she would breathe her last so that she could be painless and in peace ! I understand the pain you must have gone through !

I thought you were as horrid as me. I have a bunch of abusive relatives and I kind of wish I could use a bazooka to send them out of world. But you really cared for her...I for one don't think I could pray that for my dad though no matter how much he was suffering.

So sad for your loss and really understand your post. My father passed in 1999 from Brain Cancer and it was so awful watching him suffer. We were all relieved when he was finally free of it. Love to your family.

It is really painful to see a cancer patient suffering in the final stages. I saw my brother in law who was a cancer patient. After the surgery , The Docs said nothing to worry but after few days it recurred and he suffered like anything. He can not lay down and sleep like us. 24 hrs a day he has to sit with non stop oxygen supply. insulin injection daily, added with BP , gastric tablets along with antibiotics for cancer. After sufering and struggling for 3 years finally he reached the heavenly abode and relieved of the pain and worries

It is an emotional pain we are hitting when we are seeing our loved ones suffering. I do not know if people are bound to see a cure on this disease.

Sometimes its very difficult to see our loved ones in pain, and knowing that there is nothing much we can do to help makes things difficult for us. Thank God she is free from pain and is now rejoicing in her heavenly home,.

Belated condolences! Very sad that some die in much pain! From all my research, she is in the very best place she can be and you have an opportunity to be with her again when she will be in vibrant life. What a wonderful hope awaits you! John 5:28-29American Standard Version (ASV) 28 Marvel not at this: for the hour cometh, in which all that are in the tombs shall hear his voice, 29 and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of judgment.
