Marshmallow Scented Hand Soap

I just bought some marshmallow liquid hand soap for my downstairs bathroom. It's a game I play with the young grandchildren when they visit. Getting kids to wash their hands can be a daunting task sometimes. When they are young they say " I forgot" and then it proceeds to running the water and not putting their hands under it. Of course they think adults don't know the games they play so then it proceeds to getting their hands wet but not washed with soap. They figure if their hands are wet or damp then it's sufficient and the adult will fall for their ploy. When my grandchildren come to visit we go through the usual "did you wash your hands" when they come out of the bathroom. Not falling for their slick wet hands ploy I now ask to smell their hands to see if I can determine what scent the soap is. Of course I already know because I bought it They are willing to let me smell their hands and it's become a fun game. It also makes hand washing so much easier and my youngest grandchildren are more apt to use soap than not these days. I thought marshmallow soap would be a cute addition and it came in a nice little holiday dispenser. Looking forward to nice clean hands in my house

I bought from Yves Rocher a chocolate and orange hand soap and a pear and caramel. They really smell good.

I can't say I've ever heard of soap that came in that scent... sounds like a perfect thing for kids, though! My oldest and I argue about soap scents a lot. She's only in kindergarten, but she loves the foaming soaps Bath and Body Works sells. She's been grumpy the last few times we went to the mall because I wouldn't buy anymore--I told her we had to use up the stockpile I have before we add new ones. They have some really adorable kid-friendly dispensers around the holidays. Have you seen the ones that look like candy corn? So cute!

@yukimon I haven't seen the candy corn dispensers but I bet my grandchildren would love it. I love those foaming soaps too. Isn't it funny how children are drawn to particular things

@Marilynda1225 I see them every year at Walmart. I think they have some snowman dispensers now... Yeah, it really is. I made the mistake of going to the BBW site after posting this... the hand soaps are on sale. Ugh. I have something like 10 bottles of liquid soap strewn about the bathroom thanks to the toddler's busy little hands, and I'm seriously contemplating buying 5 more because hey, sale! What's sad is that the kindergartner would be absolutely thrilled if she got them in her stocking for Christmas. I bought her a bottle of mouthwash on Monday and she was mad I wouldn't wrap it and put it under the tree for her.

If your grandchildren are old enough to not want to try tasting the soap, then it sounds like a good way to get them to wash properly. Then again, I guess if they were to try it, they never would again, and they wouldn't be the only child with soap in their mouth, just maybe the only one's that put it there on their own,

I buy the liquid hand soaps too as it's easier for the kids. When my niece and nephew come over it's hard to get them to wash their hands also. But they will eventually listen and wash their hands. My one niece is pretty good about it but the older one not so much.

Now that is funny. You did an excellent job on this one. I'm not so sure I would ever buy marshmallow hand soap and I've never even seen it before. But what ever it takes to get kids to wash their hands it\'s sure worth it.
