Friday is here at last

It seems to have been a very long week this week. We had a major observation team in with us on Monday ....fortunately we did a great job and everything went well.... but it still meant lots of pressure for us all.
We have also had a few children off with chicken pox.
This is no big deal in itself .... children get this and it is very common ..... however we are giving out parts for the Christmas play and we are finding it tricky with so many away and likely to be away on the big day !
Thank goodness for the weekend !

What sort of play is the children doing?

It is the Christmas play. The children are 3 and 4 years old. It is a mixture of the Christmas story with Christmas songs too. The parents will come in and watch it too.

Thank goodness it's Friday! I agree with you there. But my week was not anywhere near as pressure filled as yours. I hope you are able to find some rest this weekend, TraceyJayne.

It really was a long week, there seems to be a summer cold or flu doing the rounds here that I am trying to avoid. I think we really need to step up plans on getting that 5 day weekend in motion, maybe send some chocolate to someone in power... Though really, I hope that all heal soon by you, and that you get some much needed rest this weekend.
