Pulling Christmas Together

After being gone for the last half of November, I am finally pulling Christmas together. I felt so far behind when I got home.
In the past four days, I have put up my Christmas tree, gotten my Christmas cards, addressed them, wrote my Christmas letter, got them ready to mail, and put up lights in front of the house.
I also got back into doing my volunteer work for Alanon and caught up with my normal activities ... like walking at the beach and all my exercise classes. I even took a picture of these Christmas decorations on Balboa Island.
In addition, I have written a dozen news articles for The Daily Voice News, including several on the San Bernardino mass shooting.
It has been a crazy week.
Although I haven't been on MyLot very much recently, at least you know why. Moving forward, I should have a little more time to spend here in the evening.
I look forward to catching up with everyone again!

I know you will be relieved to have your classes finished so that you can relax. Teachers deserve all the breaks they can get.

I love walking around Balboa Island. The Halloween and Christmas decorations there are great!

that mass shooting was aired on news both locally and internationally. I hope this violence will be put to an end. Christmas is just around the corner... Why can't love become the center of one's life?

@DeborahDiane Yeah its been creeping up on me. Ive been getting more motivated and accomplishing some things on my checklist the past few days. I dont want to spend another midnight on Christmas eve in a crazy long line at Walgreens cause its the only store open, lol. I am so glad you got alot of your stuff out of the way and done already. Celebrating the season the right way :)

Wow, what a pace you have been going! I am glad you have taken time to walk on the beach, with all you have been doing, you at least need that, you time. I am finding it difficult to be here as much as I would like and still have not got my tree up and decorated, I think I need to get moving already!
