I wash every day, I save things so I can do a white/light/colours dark wash.
I put the washer on overnight and hope it dries on the line during the day. Then I put it on first thing in the morning so that can go on the line too.
After tea I bring it in and pop it in the tumble drier to air. If I'm quick enough and lucky - I can cut down on ironing by hanging/folding things out of the tumbler.
It has turned very cold here now so the line is not working, I a mgetting a heated clothes aired that I can put on overnight to try and keep up.
Hope that helps, I could use some ideas myself.

I got away with out giving any tips The only tip I can give you is maybe not change the kids clothes quite so often, But if you do that then it's harder get them really clean.. The other choice is to let them run around in their undies. and it's probavly to cold for that. 4 is too old for that any way. are thhey boys or girls

yeh most of the time they just potter about in their nappies is when i cant be bothered changing them AGAIN lol usually after tea so there gonna get a bath then PJs on anyway :) yeh it is a bit cold at the moment to let them run around to long without clothes on. Yes i have 2 boys and a girl their all under 4 so i guess they dont worry to much its the middle one thats the worst he just attracks dirt from the moment he gets up lol.
Well thanks for the post hope you have a nice day

So 3 little one under 4. One still in nappies too. When mine were that little, had 4 under 5, I washed nappies every day. We had clothes line to hang them out on, but we had less rain than you do I'm thinking. other than baby clothes I washed about twice a week. But I washed all day. Didn't have a automatic washer I had to run the wash water in to a tub and put the clothes in Turn on the dasher. let them wash a while turn the dasher off Run the clothes threw a wringer into rinse water in another tub swish them around a bit then put them threw the wringer and run them out to the line to hang up. In would go another load and we would start all over. When finished had to carry the rinse water out ,then drain the washer.

OMG poor you lol I am so glad they invented washing machines lol well were bad people as we use disposible nappies we did use terry towling for the first but when the others came it was just to much so we ended up taking the easy way and used disposable ones :p I would say that it is the drying part that i find the hardest as once its washed it gets folded waiting its turn for the line but if its a rainy day ( all the time) then it ends up going sour and smells so i have to put that wash back on again its just a never ending cycle. Im getting fed up and looking into ways of making my top hall into a drying patch lol i was thinking i could get some clothes pullies up there so it may just work fo rthe rainy days :)
Thanks fo rthe post deebomb hope your having a nice day :p

I do a couple of loads every other day or so. I don't mind the washing, drying or folding but I loath the putting away and don't even talk to me about ironing.

I do atleast 1 load a day just to keep up with it the only thing i do once a week is jeans because everyone has enough for the week. i am trying to explain to my boys you can use your towel twice but they don't listen to that one or i would only have to do towel once a week but they will use 2 towel a day.

it's just me and my boyfriend, we do one load of clothes a week, then about every 2nd week do a load of towels, and once or twice a month do the sheets

oh yeh when its sheet time it is murder :) lol i suppose it might help if it diddnt rain all the time here if we could only get the washing out to dry on a regular basis then it wouldnt be that bad lol but for now we use so much electricity using the tumble dryer it is unbalevable :)
