I'd rather choose losing a friend

They just let out the evil in me. Not as bad as you think but, you know we are all humans and deserved to be respected. And I, deserved not to be taken for granted. This is why I don't want to celebrate Christmas.. Lack of money.. well, unless those people who owes me a lot of money pays before Christmas..
Oh, well, let's not talk about money. I don't care about the money issue. I have felt most of the pain realizing that my friends just used me. I have posted about this in the past days and until now I can't stop thinking about it.
When you try to help your friends and when they are at the highest point of their lives and you need their help, they have all the guts to get mad at you (when it's time for them to pay what they owe you).. So I decided, "I'd rather choose losing a friend" than keeping them and letting them take advantage of me.
I realized, people are taking me for granted. This is now my lesson.. be a good friend but never trust anyone and never show all the goodness you possess coz they will use it against you.. they will use it to pull you down.
Sorry, I'm really upset right now..
I just can't ignore it, my name and reputation is at stake and I see them on Facebook, posting how happy they are and just forgetting their obligations and not answering my calls while I, on the other hand is being chased by other obligations they built under my name.. I guess, no one would understand if I don't tell the whole story.. at this very moment I need to write this down or else, my brain is going to explode..

I can feel you , my friend .
It's annoying indeed when you see those people who have obligations to pay you money are not in the least interested in paying you . Yet , there they are at Facebook flaunting what they have in life .
I also would feel so angry at them and maybe unfriend them .

A friend who takes a loan out in your name and refuses to pay it back is no friend. I hope things get resolved and sorted for you.

Sorry for what you have experienced with your friends. It's really sad when you trust them, but it seems like they do not treat you as friend. Well, I'd not consider these people as friends.
I know some people who borrow money from others, but they are spending much more and not returning the money. I think you can just ask them to return the money to you, and perhaps not to borrow them money anymore in the future.

It is really bad on the part of your friends that they have not returned your loan. You could take a lesson from this episode and could avoid giving loans to these kinds of friends. Some people in this world are thankless and they should be taught a lesson. You should continue to remind them about your loan and tell them that they should return it sooner than later.

you're right.. i strongly believe that i have all the rights to demand for payment..i have given enough time for them to prepare and so it is now time for me to ask for it and if they can't,..well, they can't blame me if I get mad..i lost all my patience..

@carexing25 - Yes, you need not wait for more time, you could immediately demand for repayment of your loan and nothing wrong if you get made while asking your friend.

oh, that is no friend. It's better you stay away from them, although they are not perfect maybe there are people that can be trusted. although there's a saying in captain america winter soldier by nick fury: you can love people, but you can't trust them very much.

If things are that bad then it is time to let go. You don't need bad friends in your life. It is time to go out and make some new better friends.

Bad friends are not worth keeping. keep the good ones and get rid of the bad ones.

I know where you are coming from. Unfortunately, there are fair weather friends out there.
