I have to get this off my chest as well. I have a step sister who is very selfish and wants attention 24/7. She was engaged to getting married and didnt invite me or my mom to her shower or other wedding festivities. My mom has been there for her for over a decade and this how she treats us. So for snubbing us my mom and I didnt go to her wedding we were both very hurt by her actions. Oh and she knew how bad she hurt my moms feelings and never called to explain herself or apologize to her. she could care less and has shown that by her actions My mom finally had enough of her bull and said Lisa (my step sister) is no longer invited to her home for the holidays or anything else. She stuck to her guns through Thanksgiving and now my step dad broke down and started to cry because he said it is still his daughter and he wants her there for xmas today. My mom called me last night to tell men the news she is coming tonight and to try to be on my best behavior. Lisa knows no one wants her there execpt for her dad , why come then. Why not just go out with your dad alone instead of making people feel uncomfortable? I will tell you why, she doesnt care and wants to be the center of attention. It is going to suck she is going to be buying a new house and she will be parading her pictures around to people who dont care! I am not jealous by any means, I am just sick of her BS. It is going to be so hard to but on my nice girl pants and not be mean. I am not going to give her the attention she craves while being respectful..its going to be tough!
