Do you have any plans for New Year’s Eve
It will soon be here, New Year’s Eve the end of yet other year. A year which started out to be amazing for me, just the last few months went wrong) is finally drawing to a close do you have any plans for New Year’s Eve.
Last year I was in London with my ex-partner and it was amazing evening. This year going to be so different with being on my own. I’m thinking going to London again but it depends on a few things, it would be good to go, only to take photos of the fireworks. I will know more about Wednesday if I’m going or not.
Do you have any plans?
The photo is from the firework championships.

I will be staying at home again this year. Last year, for the first time in many years, I went out with my English friend. There was a special moderna dance show on at a theatre walking distance from here and we went. It was something completely differnt and there was an interval for half an hour which started 15 minutes before midnight where we all went into the foyer. Drinks were provided and we all toasted the new year in before the second half of the show.
If she is not baby-sitting then a friend who lives here in this same block of flats will come in to mine that evening but we prefer not to go out as it is expensive and there are weirdos out so best to stay home

@kevin1877uk Yes we did! We had no idea exactly what the show would be like before it started but we decided that it would be a 'different' way to spend new Year's Eve and it turned out to be really really good and we were so pleased that we went. This year there is opera at that same theatre and neither of us would enjoy that so we will give it a miss

Probably the same thing, stay home, have a couple of drinks, and then go to bed shortly after midnight. Yeah, boring!!!!

We will be getting together with another couple. We have spend Neew Years Eve together for maybe 10 years or so. We will eat, play dominos and watch the ball fall, not very exciting.

We always stay home because I do not want to be on the roads with all the people that are drunk.

Home for me too as it is expensive to go anywhere that night as well as the bad drivers-

Honestly I'm probably going to stay home and either read or maybe watch something. I don't like huge gatherings so most New Years Eve activities in my area are out of the question.

No plans for me for New Years Eve. I usually spend it alone and watch the ball drop in Time Square in New York City on television. Hope you find something exciting to do even if you can't make it to London to see the fireworks.

Here in the Philippines, we will be celebrating New Year's Eve Mass first. After that, we will await for the New Year's countdown at home and watch Fireworks Display once the New Year hits 12am here.
