Writing and Coffee

I am setting myself a little goal that is very important to me. It goes something like this - Within the next month I will be writing more on MyLot and drinking less coffee.
Did you noticed that I didn't say how much more writing and how much less drinking?
This way for the next month I can concentrate on writing more, not putting myself under pressure with how many more. Plus, I can concentrate on drinking maybe one less cup of coffee. But, then again I didn't include the amount in the goal.
This way I know I will be successful.
Do you have a goal you would like to set for yourself for the next month?

@MorleyHunt I would say you are well on your way to accomplishing your goal. I saw a picture of the centerpiece you made and it looks beautiful.

Way to go, Susan. I'm with you.... drinking tea or hot cocoa! I'll try to be active next month between edits and writing and reading and life in general. If I can't make payout every month, I aim for every 2 months instead, split it 50/50.

My goal is to use mylot as much as possible for me to learn new things that can help me in life. And in turn get more discussions and responses in the next year.

@anh101 I drink 3 cups in the morning, a couple in the afternoon, and one after supper, 6 all together. Even if I only cut out one day a day to begin with it will be a help to my kidneys. I don't drink instant coffee, never developed the taste for it.

@fishtiger58 I'm with you there. I love each cup of coffee I drink. I love the taste, the smell, and the effects. It is one thing I don't think I could ever completely quit. As for writing, it should be easy to obtain that goal. For me, writing is kind of like breathing. It is a necessity.

Sounds a wonderful goal to do, I'm drinking coffee all the time and I know I need to cut down on drinking it.

@kevin1877uk I find coffee is the one thing that I just can't give up entirely. If I drink even one less cup it is a help.

@HazySue Yeah I know what you mean, its hard to go within coffee for too long. Yeah drink one less would help, not got a clue how much I drink, need to count.

@chocolatenightingale maybe the goals you set for yourself are not as attainable as the ones I set for me. Try little goals, write them down, and work towards them.
