What are the remedy for computer eye strain? I work all day infront of the computer and my right eye is very blurry and often hurts. Any natural remedy?

Do you wear spectacles? Maybe you need to have your eyes checked out by a proffesional.

I do. But some eye doctors are telling to upgrade glasses in order to sell you a new one. I prefer to consult an eyedoctor in a hospital and not in an optical shop. just don't have the time to do it now.

I have some artificial tears, they are prescribed by my eye doctor after I had lasik and I found out it helps after my eyes feel dry and tired after working in front of the computer for a long time. Also, I would look at the green plant beside my monitor so my eyes can rest. Any color that is cool and soothing to the eyes also helps.

Thanks for the tips. I'll make sure to follow it. By the way, how do you feel after the Lasik treatment? And that drops, could it be prescribed even if you haven't done the surgery?

My doctor recommended for every hour usage on the computer to take a 10 minute break. If you cannot do a 10 minute break, every so often like 15 minutes take 1 minute of your time and let your eyes focus on something else other than your computer so you can let your eyes relax.

Drink a lot of water to add more moisture to your eyes. Also sometimes you need to stay away from the PC and rest your eyes.

Try cucumbers as eye pads. Cut some large round-shaped slices and put on your eyes and relax. This is one natural remedy I know.

Also if the blurriness is too much or there is pain better to approach a doctor.
