Some money would be nice

Some money would be nice In all the years I’ve been on this planet I’ve never really had any money so to speak, never had enough money. Sometime a little more and some a lot less. It’s a big weekend with big lottery prize money. It would be nice to be rich but myself just some money would be good. This last year for me been hard, I think the hardest of them all. I’m very positive about this year being a good year in more ways than one. In fact I don't think I've ever been this positive about a year, so I'm hoping I'm right, it will be a good year. Ok many can’t buy you happiness and I think that’s all I would like. I'd like bit of money and being happy would be good. Would you like to be rich or just comfortable and not have to worry about bill.

I just want to be comfortable with enough money to travel. That's all I ever wanted to do. And right now I have nothing but time to do it. This is going to be the best year yet!!

I think being rich would be equal to being miserable. Rich People are in a class all their own and I just think they are more lonely than anything else. I'd rather be financially comfortable. I'd like to be able to jet set where ever and be happy with it. You are fortunate in your own right as you've had money to travel overseas. I've never had enough to travel. Growing up we had assistance from the government for food and healthcare. We made do with hand me downs. Still I felt very rich for what I did have. My sister who grew up alongside of me saw it all differently. She now spoils her children to the point they don't understand money as well they should. It kind of breaks my heart to see my niece just grab happy without knowing the value or the hardwork that has to be put in to earn it. I suppose I've gone off on a tangent again.

No you never off tangent. I know what you mean, brother much the same, he seem to have everything and done well. Myself I've worked over the years but always never enough sometimes it's been ok and had enough money to do things but most of the time it's not been so. I want to change that this year, because enough is enough. I feel this year it will change I feel that so positively. I hope things change for you and this year will be good for you.

Living paycheck to paycheck is hard and most of my life has been like that. When I decided 3 years ago to get my husband retired as soon as possible I started canceling things we just didn't need that were costing a ton each month. Like the cable, we hardly watched it and were paying 110 dollars a month for it. I love a landline telephone but we were paying 70 dollars a month for that, so I canceled that and found one we like for 4 dollars a month. I got a cheaper cell phone as well. All that money went to help pay off a couple of credit cards we had. In about a year and a half I got all the bills paid off and our monthly bills reduced greatly. Now we live on a fixed income my husband has a pension with the State of Illinois. This is the first time in our lives we don't worry about money, it's amazing and wonderful.

I had a fairly comfortable childhood and had work all my working years which is getting over now - not bad to work for forty five years, so stretching my legs a bit.I have just enough savings to get by - I am comfortable with limited assets and no liability like now. I have worked with the very rich being in the finance field and I never wanted to be like them. They take advantage of the poor who are gullible and lose it with their own and pass on the ill gotten wealth to their children mostly. If at I get a windfall, I would like to share with some who are in dire straits - siva

I TOTALLY understand and agree. I want to pay things off, I want to have a big nest egg for lean times. I want to not have to worry if I can pay the power bill next month. If I had extra I would pay the house and truck off, and our college debts. Then I would buy a few acre's of land and build us a nice small home, with solar panels and a garden, it's own water, etc, etc., this would be the vacation, and retreat home. I dont want a super fancy car, just a new jeep or something small. I dont need a mansion, I wouldnt want one. But even if all it did was pay every cent we owe someone right this second, It would be AMAZING.

@kevin1877uk I have issues being happy when I am stressed over money, if the big we owes were paid, I'd stress less, we can, well we could until this last job upset, cover our own living expenses fine, we were always fight because we are paying off credit cards and the truck and the house. I hate old bills!

I would just like enough money not to have to worry about paying the bills to be honest as long as I had good health and my family around me. I am not really very materialistic to be honest. I have what I need in the current circumstances any more is a bonus. I hope 2016 is your year for you and you achieve all you want to do. Good luck!

I hope you have a wonderful year. It's definitely all about staying positive. Even when things get bad, look for the bright side. It's all about how to choose to look at things. You're right, money doesn't buy happiness but that doesn't mean we don't need it. Praying that things go well for you this year. :-)

Maybe is it because of my catholic background, but money has never been high in my scale of values, and being rich has never been a goal for me. I have had highs and lows, and I have realized that as long as I have enough to pay the bills and to live the modest life I enjoy, I am happy like that. I hope that this year will be good for you.

Being rich is the best thing to happen. Not only you but the nearest and dearest to you then get to experience utmost comfort. Somewhere within we all want to be rich, we have many obvious reason to want so. All are desires can be fulfilled if we are rich. The motto is EARN LEARN and GROW. This world runs on an important thing called money, brother. :) @kevin1877uk Lots of love from India.
