what do you feel the driving age should be? Here in PA it's 16.5, and I think that's too young. I would like to see the driving age set at 18.

That's so stupid, because Im going to be going to college at age 17. How can I be in college, and not even have my permit yet. I wouldn't even have time to get a license in college.

You know, there are lots of colleges that don't let freshmen drive on campus. I personally think the age should be well above 16.

I got my license when I was 20. I didnt need the car until I have to go back and forth with college. I always ride with my friends. When I was in high school, most of my friends have license but I was scared to ride with them. In my country, Japan is 18 years old to get license. I think 18 is a good age to get a license. I think 15 and 16 are little too young.

Well here in Florida it's 16 to get a license and in some ways I agree with it. They use it as an incentive to keep kids in school. If they drop out they can't get their license or keep it if they already have it. To me that is a good idea. Also for some, like myself, I started college at 17. They might need a car in that situation and if the driving age is 18 it makes it difficult to get too and from college or if they are working. It's not always easy to find someone to carpool with. So for myself I think keeping it at 16 makes some sense. I could see maybe uping it to 17 but even then those that work might find it difficult.
