How can I make money

When we read the newspapers, we always read without questioning the source or in-depth questions about how the news will affect us. If we want to change our thinking to get rich, we must have a business mindset. That means when you read something, you must ask: how can I make money? If you read about tsunami in a certain country destroying homes, you can ask: how can I make money? The reason is not to suck the poor victims dry. The reason is for you to think deeper about the needs of the survivors. They will need food, water, medicine, houses, textbooks, and other necessities to live a normal life. Volunteers and donations will help them initially, but not forever. There are business opportunities there. Perhaps you can build roads so that people can move about easily. Perhaps you can supply toilet bowls for the contractor to install in their new houses. You are changing your mindset from a negative and helpless mindset to a positive, and action-taking mindset. Make it a habit to ask: how can I make money?

I don't think there is anything I can do to help those in dire straights because of weather or war, all I can do is give money to charities that I know are going to help and not pocket my money.

Most of us are not in business. If we are, we will surely think of ways to help them, such as providing medicine, and tents in the immediate future, and think of ways to provide raw materials for infrastructure restoration.

The reason disasters are the best time to get back in game because it shows the world it is not you, but them. Then when they clean it up .....it goes back to them and therefore will never want their dirty money. Not to mention what the real disaster did to people. This world is just straight cruel.

Those who live in natural disaster zones have some precautions or insurance coverage. If you are living in a place where hurricanes strike often, you can expect the future to be the same. After the hurricane gone, rebuilding starts. Those companies who are in the building and construction business will get very busy.

It maybe proper to actually ask what opportunity you can have from a certain situation. From there you will come up an idea to solve people's problem that leads you to make money.

In this world, we often have more opportunities than we can grab. In all kinds of economy, there are people who get rich because they see the needs of others. I think when we start to think this way, we will never say that the economy is good or bad.

I don't tend to be so materialistic as to exploit situations and opportunities for profiteering

If you had good mind you can do charity work on your local level first.

That is not a problem at all. It is part of corporate culture, and I donate a part of my yearly income every year. In Singapore context, we do not have natural disaster, and even if a fire destroys some homes, the insurance will cover it. The government is also rich enough to help these victims.

A true hustler sees opportunity were others find none. I don't think its exploiting per say. One makes money and then donates some to charity organisations of their choice.

It is always good to have a mean to make a living, and then use the money to donate to others. I think that is the reason that rich people are happy. They are rich, because they can make money, and donate a lot to others.
