Hello boomersint and I am with you on the pacific coast hwy likes. I am from southern California myself from Los Angeles and I have walked about 50 miles of pacific coast hwy. at times in my life. It is a very beautiful hwy. I miss it alot though cause I moved from California to Missouri in August 1995. I visited California in July and August of 2005 but didn't get the chance to go to the beach, so do me a favor hun and visit the hwy. for me and then send me a response on how beautiful it is and maybe send a few pictures of it via email so I can see my home state any time I wish. Thanks for this discussion and have a very wonderful day!!!!!!!!!

Wow thank you for sharing your love of the Pacific Coast Highway One. I am still living in Southern California and actually I was in San Diego and took some photos along the San Diego Bay. I have a web site hun and you can visit it. Got all the pictures in there and more as I will go along the beach and take some more of my own photos soon.

WOW Amit, they are gorgeous beaches too. They are beaches along the Indian Ocean right? Our beaches in California, Oregon and Washington are on the Pacific Ocean. Thailand beaches are on the Andaman Sea on the western side and the Gulf Of Thailand on the Eastern side. We have beautiful beaches in Thailand too. The most famous ones are in Phuket and Khok Samui.

I love the beach. So beautiful. I love Hwy 1. Its great entertainment just to drive down it. So much scenery.

I think PCH 1 is the longest drive along the coast, although Florida might be as long but PCH 1 goes across 3 states.

me a a beach lover..my dad use to take our family for a whole week to a famous place in Inida called as Puri, i live nearby thier.. and it was the first natural beach in India,and its famus for its temple of lord jagannath and cart festival, after that Goa become a hot place.

Oh yes, memories of childhood and yesteryears gone by. I remember my childhood days and it was bitter sweet memories.

I am a beach lover myself ehhehe..Just look at my photo on my Boracay beach philippines interests have lots of photos there taken in Boracay White Beach in the Philippines. I love it there because first of all it is cheap in the philippines for every 1 usd its 52 pesos there. We only spent about 1,000 USD for our hotels, foods, and all the activities we had. You can have jetski, parasailing, scuva diving, horse back riding, atv, there...lot of activities you can do. that's what I like:)+

Wow, beautiful and breath taking! Thank you for sharing. I love to spend time on the beach. I wish I live near the beach! WOW that is nice. Sounds like you have so much fun for so little money. Here in the US it would probably cost $2000-$3000.
