Best smoke quitting techniques ?

I would like to quit smoking cause it's bad for me and i want to know which techniques you think are best

Do not try to go cold turkey, that rarely works. Try putting yourself on a weekly course. The first week you can smoke every hour on the hour. If you miss the hour because you forget or are occupied then you have to wait until the next hour. If you get up at 7:10 in the morning you have to wait until 8. The second week you go for the hour and one half. Third week every 2 hours, etc. This makes you think about your habit instead of acting on auto-pilot.

i do this to myself........... tell urself u still hav'nt done anything in ur life and u want to achieve somthing......... so it's too early to die........

From what I've seen, the best technique would be to have another buddy who smokes and quit together. My sister used to smoke but her and my brother in law quit together just by acting as a support towards eachother.

Yes , your suggestion is good ... i don't have a girlfriend at the moment ... that's a pitty :)

I hate smoking... I hate its smell.. even I am unable to stop smoking... I need a good suggestion...
