Do you leave the tv or radio on for your animals?

Yes I do. also make it look like someone is home even when we are not. also Have a light on a timer.

i know my friend too has a pet and when we watch TV they watch it soo interestingly as though they understand, so when we go out we keep it on for the pets.

I usually don't because I have two cats and they are good company to each other. If I just had one pet, then yes I probably would:).

Yes, our dog, Bingo seems to like the tv to be on in the bedroom when we are gone. He stays calm and is not barking or whining if it is on when we return home. If we happen to forget and turn it off he will be whining at the top of the stairs when we walk in the door.

Yes I do when I leave to go somewhere. I do it so my dogs won't feel alone. My mother-in-law puts her TV on the animal planet for her dog.

We do sometimes, especially if we know we are going to be out past dark. We usually put it on a really mellow station for them. It is also good to keep any intruders from breaking in. It makes them think someone is home.

I never really thought about that! Maybe I should start leaving on the tv or radio for the dogs when I have to leave. I know they are really happy to see me when I get home and are all upset because I left them...they seem to think that they can go everywhere with me. I will try that next time I leave! Thanks!

I don't leave anything on when I go away but I might try it. During the day I sometimes play music for my kitty. She doesn't like the volume but I do catch her watching TV from time to time, so I stop when I see a station with bright red on it (it seems to be her favorite color!)

When I had a dog I did but now that I have 2 cats I don't I figure they can keep eachother company. I will say that if I know I am going to be gone for a really long day I will leave a radio on. I aways leave a light on.

i dont think its weird,i leave the tv on for all 9 of mine 10 counting cami the macaw. so my hats off to you for thinking of them.

I used to leave the radio on for my parakeet. Now I don't really leave anything on for the pets.
