Gotta love those heated seats!

When we bought our current vehicle we had no idea it had heated seats. Living in the south it wasn't an option we thought existed! One day I pushed a button by mistake and my butt got hot and that's how we found out about that option. Those heated seats came in super handy this morning. We left the house at 8:30 and it was only 17 degrees. My husband was nice enough to let the car warm up so when we got in it was toasty warm. You can use the heat on the seat or the back or a combination. I gave it 10 minutes and then I shut it off...that was enough for me! Even if we only use heated seats a few times over the winter I would want that same option in the next vehicle. Now if someone tells me I'm hot-headed I can say, "No, I'm hot-butted." Photo belongs to me.

Hot headed and butted makes a warm woman. We have a new vehicle but I don't think the seats are heated but I will look in the book next time I 'm in it.. I have been cars that did and in cold Canada that's a good idea.

That should be standard equipment for cars where you live. Our buttons are below the radio.

I remember seeing an interview with David Beckham who said that the first time he accidentally switched on the heated seats he thought he'd wet himself.

I can see how that little extra bit of warmth and comfort could be well-appreciated on some of these cold mornings.

I appreciate the heated seats because here they are useful more than a few days a year.

In a colder climate they are more needed than a car where I live.

I have heated seats and I love them. I probably use mine more than you do since it's so cold here during the winter.

I hope you use yours more than we have to or I'm really not living in the south! What's the temp there? We don't have snow but it's cold for here, about 28 right now.

That's an awesome feature to have when it's cold out especially in that 17 degree weather! Very sweet of your husband to let the car warm up and your seat warm up before you get in! I thought about heated seats when purchasing my car but living in California - I didn't think I needed them so I went without.

Heated seats are the best. I have a heated toilet and it's amazing. It's really a lifesaver in the winter when everything is cold and frozen.

@AbbyGreenhill Must be nice. Japan doesn't have central heating so the toilet seat is probably the only spot in the bath area that's warm LOL.

I guess I am also hot butted. I use the heated seats pretty much daily in the winter. In the summer I use them even when I have air conditioning on. My back muscles can never have too much heat.

"Hot Butted"! That's too funny! Our previous vehicle had heated seats and I loved them in the winter! Our current vehicle doesn't have them and I sure do miss them!

I could see if you had them and no longer do that you would miss them. So far in the two winters we've had them we only used them twice.

That is a suave looking car right there, good job! I have never had heated leather seats but had a friend who did. THey definitely did get a little too hot after a while! But helpful when you are trying to warm up.

All three cars have heated seats and seats that are also air conditioned. The steering wheels are heated, too. Nothing like being toasty or cool when necessary!

I don't think I'd want heated steering wheel - my hands would melt. More A/C I'll always take.
