72 old man married 15 years old girl

This world will kill me before my time. The things my ears are receiving are not the ones i am pleased to hear at all.
Yesterday i was not logged in and this is what the news had for me. A 72 years old man took a girl from her home in the name of helping her with her schooling since the family is not capable. She went to his house and at first all was well. However when she turned 15 he turned her into a wife. Right now she is a mother.
It was not explained how this all happened and i cannot tell why the girl did not think of leaving when things started going the unexpected way. All in all i just hope the law takes its course and he gets persecuted for marrying a minor.

At least he hasn't killed her, that's a good sign. This probably isn't all that strange.

Yes how does this happen? It is not right at all.
I know this happens around the world ..children should be children.
It seems a crime to me.

Actually i was just wondering could the parents have made the deal with the man without the girl knowing otherwise how could they have allowed her to go stay with him and no one else was in that house

This world is bonkers sometimes! Honestly what the heck! It would be a little different if she was AT LEAST of age. But since she is under age. I just think this is pathetic and wrong.
