Dear Sir/Madam (Not sure about your gender. So, deal with it. We ALL do...) *sticking nose in the air*
With not so heavy heart, I have to warn *danger* you *brow raised* that there has been a blatant disrespect *soar* of people’s ability to use a proper emoticon *question mark* according to the situation. This has come to rise *up* since there are not enough *uh oh* emoticons available. That seriously has been having adverse *downy* effects on the emotional health of our comments and responses. *tear drop*
They are suffering majorly *pain* and our fingers are demanding justice *my rights* for the cruelty *frown* brought upon them by forcing them to type out our expressions *scowl*.
Not to mention the extra costs *dollars* it takes to bring comfort to the fingers. It is really disconcerting *heartbreak*.
So, I implore you to take some action in this regard before they completely give up and fall off from our hands. This would not bode well with you since they are the ones typing it all out here.
Now do you get it?? *tapping foot with hands on hips*

I have never seen such a post in my long association with mylot. I am thinking you would have spent considerable time conceiving this post and then finalizing it. It not only contains a request in the form a letter but a nicely attempted poetry too. (Needless to say that you write very good poetry).
I support your cause that some more emoticons like - *jumping*, *applauding*, *frown*, *growl* *smirk*, *sniffling*, *Wiping sweat from brow* and *shrug*, if added, will help us to express us more effectively.
I do hope that admin will take note of our request.
Today only, I read in the news that Facebook is soon coming up with new emoticons so that people could express through emotions besides 'thumbs up'.

Thanks!!! I used to love writing letters to editor in high school. Then this emoticon absence issue turned up. So, I thought why not and wrote one letter for the admin...... And then added humor to it to make it entertaining....3 people like this

@WorDazza You have the ability to express and put forth your views in a calm and a diplomatic manner. So no, I don't agree with you that you are not a very expressive man..............You don't need to anyway coz I believe that being simple means that you bare it all ....there are no complications..........You get what you see.......
