Today I got another call from a scammer today. I supposedly had got approved for a grant which I didn't apply for. The thing is that they didn't even call my phone. They had called my wife's phone.
The guy said I got approved for a grant for $9,000. The guy said it was going to be wired to me through western union. He gave me a confirmation number and then gives me a number to call. I call and the guy gets to the end of the call just about and tells me that I have to pay $250
I told them I know it is a scam because I didn't apply for a grant and if it is a grant why would I have to pay to get it. I also told them to not call me anymore. They called again this evening. I want to prank call them and tell them I am a federal agent and that we have traced their call and have their location and that we are going to arrest them we are down the street.

I hate scammers! I hope you have the block feature so the number doesn't fall you anymore. They're a waste of time! I'm sure if you prank called them they'd be afraid.

Lol That would be awesome if they paid victims of fraudulent scams to prank call the people who do the scams while they are in prison. Tell them that their parole hearing got moved up all they have to do is pay a processing fee for the paper work lol. These days as long as you are available in some way you are eligible for something

I certainly wouldn't blame you if you did, as they won't leave you alone, so you have beat them at their own game, and let them know that enough is enough. Sincxe i have an iPhone, I block all 1-800 calls, as I don't want to deal with creditores or telemarketers. I have blocked over 70 since I had the iPhone, and that has only been since September of last year. Some of them eventtually write me since they can't call me, and I just don't bother with that either.

Stubborn kind don't know when to stop even when they are busted already I'd love to know what would happen, use a different phone or sim when you call them cause they probably searched your background already.

I used to speak in a foreign language when they called. They get irritated, but I figure, If they are going to waste my time, I'm going to waste theirs.
