Have you ever sent a message to the wrong person by mistake?

It has happened to me before a few times, but luckily the text messages in question were not too embarrassing! I meant to send a couple of messages to my friends but somehow ended up sending them to my sister! I am just glad I did not end up sending the messages to my boss at work or to my parents as some of them were a little personal!! Has that ever happened to you before?

oh that would be hard when you send messages with people with the same name especially if close to you.

@gudheart I also use the social apps like that. But sometimes I will send people SMS for important issues so that they will not miss it.

I responded to an e-mail from a person with the same first name as a good friend and I thought I was sending her an update regarding my broken leg, but it was someone from the church I had attended a couple times. It turned out good and we e-mailed back and forth since. Though I haven't heard from her in a month. The last time was around Christmas.

I have three guys named Jonathan in my contact list. I was texting two of them at the same time. After a few messages, I sent one of them "Btw, when did you get out?" Because a mutual friend had told me he was in jail. I sent it to the wrong one! He was totally confused, and I was embarrassed. Haha

I also tried this kind of experience. But then, we need to be careful in sending messages. We can never tell the great impact about it.

Touch wood, I have not! I remember reading a joke years ago before the advent of computers. One was in love and was penning a letter to his dear one and also another to a govt dept. After few days his girl friend wrote back - why did you send a letter addressed to govt to me? Then he realized where his tender love letter went to. Now the mistakes are found out faster - siva

That's not a good thing to have happen to you. My sister did it last week and ever since then as been embarrassed to even say hi to the person who got the message by mistake. Needless to say what was in the message wasn't something for everyone's eye. But I always try my best to double check beforemi hit the send button, because once it's sent that's it, you can't take it back.
