I don't know and its kind of weird but for the past few days I have been dreaming every night while sleeping. Sometimes, its about day to day activities and sometimes its an irrelevant, weird stuff, altogether. And there is this one dream which keeps on repeating, that either I am in school or college and there is some examination going on and I am totally unprepared for that. At times, I even see my old classmates who are way ahead in performance than me. Its really disturbs me when I wake up because I have finished my education about 3-4 years ago and I was a good student always. I miss my dreamless sleeps so much

It's one of my biggest frustrations. I know I have some of my best experiences during my dreams, but I never seem to remember them. Maybe snippets for a few seconds or minutes after I wake, but that's it. Routine is the answer to a good sleep, along with peace and quiet, being comfortable and warm, but not too warm. I always give the same advice if you can't get to sleep. Lie next to a cliff edge - you'll soon drop off.

LOL You are right I have read in one of Dr. Brian Weiss's book that we remember only 10% of our dreams and if we wish to interpret something out of our dreams then we must jot down whatever we remember. But, generally people are (including me) too lazy to do that.

@RRoyy2 Oh, I couldn't possibly jot it down. Too X-rated and I'd worry it got into the wrong hands. It might even appear that I had writers tourettes.

LOL "I am in school or college and there is some examination going on and I am totally unprepared for that" Trust me,i also had that kind of dreams before, esp. when i felt nervous about something in life or on work. The best way to enjoy the dreamless sleep is to do enough sports in the daytime,i guess, not heavy ones, but to relax. Is New Delhi very cold lately? you can practice yoga or meditation at home if it is too cold outside.it helps quite a lot on me.

Wow.. that's a pretty good advice. Yes, Delhi is quite cold these days though expectations are that after a couple of weeks the weather would be good. And I think that you are right, I am a bit too stressed these days.Probably I must try some sort of meditation or yoga. Even I have been planning to start doing the same but due to Winters I thought of waiting a bit. But I will certainly start now. Thanks for the wonderful suggestion.
