I'm so sad last week. The saved pictures and videos of my one and only boy was deleted on my memory card. From he's birth until last week. Luckily, I have printed some from he's birth until 1st month. But I want the other's to retrieve, though I know I cannot. I have posted some in Facebook. All I can do is weep. Those pics and vids are very important to me. It's my documentation of my baby and would like to compile the pictures on photo album I bought. I hope I can retrieve some through Facebook.

There are some software which can recovery the files from your storage card easily. So don't worry about it so much. I succeed to recovery my files, too. I use Easyrecovery Professional and it is one of the good software to help you solve this problem. Good luck!

@shameigene Trust me, the photos can be recovered even if they are deleted. I formatted my hard disk before and I could also recover it. The most important thing is you haven't written new data for it. For example, if you use this memory card to take photos, then some of the old photos may not be recovered since the new ones replace them. But if you just deleted them and you didn't do anything for it after that, it is very possible to recover them all. Of course the memory hard shall not have a physical problem at first. I am not professional, but I already recovered my files for several times already.

Thanks for the information! I've asked my husband who has a friend which is a cellphone technician, if he can fix it. He say's if the pictures are deleted, then there is no way to retrieve it. I will ask him again if he knows it.

It's a very basic rule. If you value something, back it up.

True! I thought of having them print all cause it also happens before but I was able to retrieve it. Da** that card. I guess I had it full. But that's not reason to delete my pictures. I still can't get over it.

I guess you need to invest an external drive. Memory stick or card is not guaranteed that it will last long. It would be depreciate or worn out in time.

Thanks! Yeah, I guess so. But I will buy a new card first. The one I have is old and is malfunctioning. Have you experienced taking a picture and then when you see it the following day, you can only see half of it and the other half has turned into gray? I don't know if it's a virus of just my phone.

You can retrieve them from Facebook. My husband always posts pictures and videos of our daughter, and I'm glad because at least we have backup. Of course, we share these only to our friends and family.

I posted pictures of him a lot but everytime, I keep something for my eyes only. I mean for every moment I took a photo of him for the same pose like 5 times. I posted about 3 pictures only. The two left were about to print. Every pictures of him I do not delete it unless it is blurred. Sometimes, I put it on a collage photo.
