The way we dry wet hair after washing is very important. Some people dry their hair by rigorously rubbing them between a towel. However, this is damaging since wet hair is very weak and prone to breakage.

I guess we need to be careful in letting the hair dry. I think it is also affects the strands by using a strong chemicals in shampoos.
