Would you go to Mars if you had a ticket to ride?

It seems like the impossible vacation for humans, but possibly if you were an experimental ape you might qualify. Remember the days when they put a chimp in a rocket to space? Well I would not go to Mars if they paid me. But hey, It's just me.

I like Earth, I think I'll stay here. In a pinch if the end of the world was coming I might think about it if I was younger...

At one time I wanted to be a space man. Not any more. Mother earth is my terra firma.

Not for me - unless they could make it a lot quicker than it is now.

Currently, a new technology is being developed to reach Mars in a matter of just a few days rather than years. Hope you would enjoy then!

No, I wouldn't. I like it here on Earth. I also happen to enjoy being with my family. If some people want to go, that's fine by me, but I'm not one of them.

We should find a way to send robots to Mars that could be remote controlled from Earth by humans but also be able to do things on auto pilot. There is so much we can learn from our twin planet Mars without even actually putting a human on the surface.

What a beautiful landscape
Haha. I would certainly go to Mars if I had the chance. You know something, when the movie "The Martian" released, I read so many facts about Mars and started following the author of that book. Andy Weir (Author) was asked a question in Quora that what made him to write that book, he said that he loved the landscape of Mars. And mainly, if I had the supply of Oxygen forever and a high speed internet, that's it, I would stay there for my eternity. Trust me, you would surely love it vast and beautiful terrain. PS: If any corrupt people get the chance to get there, that's it, we need to forget our enjoyment there as people will start colonizing and making rules.

@lookatdesktop I'm still looking for a way to be able to get back to my homeland the US so Mars doesn't interest me at all.
