I had to delete a few responses and comments as I found them to be obnoxious. In that post where I had said I am nearing payout, there were responses that made me feel that they were throwing cents at me and I was there with a beggar's bowl. Someone else was wondering how I can afford a maid. Most users are well to do and they are here to interact exchanging views, opinions, teaching, learning, socialising and getting that thrill when they reach pay out. I spend more money for my ISP than what I earn here and so must be the situation for many here. Assuming that we are here with a beggars bowl should stop.

I do know a few members who depend to some degree on getting a few dollars here in order to enjoy a little extra, but considering that someone is desperate for money is ridiculous. We all know how little can be earned here, so anyone concerned purely with the monetary aspect would be doing something else.

@allknowing Exactly. Nobody would consider this as a means of income.

That's really very offensive things to ask. Even I can say that payment from the site is not enough for paying some bills in the house. It is a matter of fun and actively interacting with myLotters.

Yep - this site is for interacting and having fun. We pay more for internet than our earnings but we enjoy our time here.

It's a good thing you are 'always smiling'... The majority here are't here for the money, no one gets rich making $10 a months.

I certainly am not on here because I need the money! I do it because I enjoy the interaction, the camaraderie and the sense of unity among most of the members. It's such a fun way to interact with people from all over the world! Such a shame that a few people on here have to make snide remarks.

I always wanted penfriends but was not successful and here I have a bonanza to interact with the whole world and that is why I am here and when we reach payout it is a thrill and not something that we survive on.

that is why I think I should refrain myself from making discussions about my nearing pay-out, because we might be construed as 'begging' from others a piece of their likes and comments.I have reached the minimum now, but I guess I will be paid out by the end of this month. I reached $10 on the first week of this month.

This post was more to say how I broke my own rule of not setting goals But there were such lovely responses too there. It reflects on the mind set and has nothing to do with us. Anyway if our followers do not bother to follow us and take part in our posts it is their shortcoming and not ours. I have reached payout many times here

@allknowing I think there are still others who hope for the like-back and comment-back ideas in order that both the recipient and the giver are on a win-win situation.

I must agree wholeheartedly. Though I know the bit they earn here is helpful to many folks, it isn't for the money that most of us are here. The $ is a handy way of keeping track of how well you are interacting with others and how well they are interacting with you, and every month or so you make enough to take yourself out for a meal or buy a book off Amazon.

lol You worried me with your post. I went back to check my own response to that post to see if I had sounded implying something... It is still there so It would have not.... Also you should have reported them if they made you feel like that... lol Having a maid or not is no one's business..... I agree with you on assuming that one is here with a beggar's bowl is not done... 670 to 700 Indian Rupees aren't even a pocket change...

This is better I feel as many would know that they should be pleasant while posting. This is a fun site and it should remain that way. I had clearly said in that post that I was breaking my own rules of not getting goals for myself. Anyway I have moved on. No time to argue and vitiate the environment here.

What is an ISP? Opinions are like problems and buttholes everybody's got 1. Don't be bothered by them. Their comment is only valuable if you give it worth. Its mind over matter. If you don't mind they don't matter.

That is not right! No matter what your income, this sight should primarily be used for the interaction not the money, as you cannot really get rich on here. It is not fair that you had people being rude to you. We should all be supporting one another.
