Bus Accident

Monday was a bad day for my husband. He is a bus driver and the first text I get in the morning that I get from my husband wasn't the kind of text I normally wanted to get. He texted me "I was in a small accident but I'm okay" My first thought was please don't be our car anything but the car. I texted back asking if it was our car or his bus. He answered back quickly by this time I got our daughter on the bus. He had an accident with his bus and hit another bus from the other county. Both him and the other driver of the bus was find. Their bus where both dented up a little. Thankfully no kids where on the bus yet. So my husband spend the next 4 hours filling the police report, driving the bus back out to the depot, fueling it up, cleaning it out even though it was clean already from Friday. Then he had to find a spear bus that was blocked so he had to find the driver to the bus that was blocking the bus he need for the rest of this week and time that he needs it till his bus is fixed up. He really wanted a soda but the soda he wanted the machine wouldn't take his money.
Finally he made it home to me. He order a pizza to try to make the day better. Rested and then went back to work.

I'm sorry to hear about the minor accident. I'm glad everyone is fine and no kids were on board.

Me too! It's such a pain when something happens on the bus and the kids are one. The bus has to drive all the kids to the school and then the parents have to sign them out from there after the police reports everything. It's a very long process and parents get upset with it but that is how they do it.

Yeah! It as a hard day for him but he got back to work and finished the day like he was suppose to.

I'm glad the accident was minor and no injuries to either driver. I hope the bus can be fixed quick and that the rest of his week goes better.

The rest of the week has been better it's Friday the end of the week time to relax. He has class tomorrow after his morning run but other wise for him it's the end of the week.n

Sorry to hear that, good thing it was only a minor accident and nobody got hurt, your husband is a very hardworking guy who takes his job seriously, you are very lucky.

Yes, he does take his job serisouly. He is a good driver. It was the other bus that was in the wrong but they called it just straight up accident due to weather. So neither of them got into trouble. But I don't know how the other county deals with accidents. I was just glad that nobody was hurt it was just a few detentes and a broken mirror. He is working hard to become a teacher one day.

There where no kids on the bus. It happened before he reach his first bus stop.

@Shavkat like I said it happen before he reached his first elementary stop in the morning and the sa,e for the other buss. It really is a pain when an accident happens and kids are the bus. Last year too many bus got stuck in the snow on the way to school because the busses just couldn't handle it and slid off the road.

Oh no! My had and was freaked he would lose his job. But it's wasn't anyone's fault so for him he doesn't need to do anything since it was an accident on the other drives part. The driver drives for the other county so I don't know what they do.

He wasn't stressed about anything, just a bad day one thing after another. Yes seeing me for a tiny bit helped as well as two of our three little ones.
