its a great idea specially if your hearts in it. its best that you have your own land so you wont have to pay or rent it. make sure you know how to take care of your crop. but first, know whats salable in the area so you can easily sell it.

I was thinking about renting a land at beginning and as I progress I will buy my own. And thanks for the suggestions me and my friends are planning to survey the market to analyze the best selling crop.

So you think that I should get involved in Agriculture? I am definitely ready to work very hard and I am very much confidence that I can work hard. Thanks for the suggestion. If you don't mind can you share about your experiences while choosing your career?

Agriculture is a good path to cross because you are going to feed the economy and you will feed your country. Remember to at least make a research and study so you will be able to handle situations like drought ,diseases and pest.

Water will be your biggest asset. Make sure you are in an area with excellent supplies of water and great drainage. It's one of those resources that you need to depend on.

Agriculture is not easy as there are many factors that are outside our control. Also the expenses are high if we do not have prior experience with agriculture. Think through before taking a decision.

Agriculture is a very exciting and also very challenging career. Its not only focused on planting but it also involves highly technical means of propagation, new and organic ways to fertilize crops etc. You can start by trying to grow herbal or ornamental potted plants just to test if youre a green thumb and if your comfortable with plants.
