I am Not Getting This, I am Not Getting This.

I kept telling myself that I was not going to get this head cold that is going around. I used hand sanitizer until my hands were dried out. I washed my hands too! However, even though I tried my best not to get this head cold, I got the dang thing. Now I am wrapped up in a blanket in my recliner, sipping a hot cup of tea, and feeling like absolute crap. Of course, it could also be that I am not feeling well from the abcessed tooth, but add the head cold to the equation and it makes me want to crawl into bed and sleep the rest of the day away. I still have groceries to put away, laundry and dishes to do, and tidy up the living room. Unfortunately I do not have the energy to do everything. Now to pick and choose what I can do.

Sometimes the best thing to do is to just go to bed and try to get better, the work isn't going anywhere.

I did manage to get the laundry done. Have one load in the dryer now and one in the washer. Two of the loads were my daughter's laundry that I took home for her. I have to bring it to her tomorrow.

@BelleStarr I know, but I am one that rarely slows down unless I am totally down for the count. I did take a muscle relaxer and that should help relax the muscle tension I am feeling and allow me to sleep well tonight.

I wish! I hope that after I get some rest tonight that I will have the energy to finish the housework tomorrow. I did manage to get the refrigerated items put away.

Everyone I work with (okay that's only like 6 people) are very sick right now. I think i already had it and it was just weaker for me for whatever reason. But i know what you mean about telling yourself "i'm not getting sick!"

I am still suffering from this. I still get fatigued easily so I have to pace myself at work and try to get more rest when I am at home.

I should have rested today, but we had to go to my daughter's storage unit to start emptying it out. I only put a couple if boxes and a sewing machine in my car. My son and husband loaded the heavy things. Now I am going to finish the laundry and lay down for an hour. I am fatigued.

So sorry! My hubby came down with all except the accessed tooth last week. I did all I could to ward it off, and it worked, so far, for me. I would just put the groceries away. The rest can keep. Please feel better soon.

It is likely your immune system is depressed if you're fighting infection which would then make it harder to avoid getting a cold. I hope you're feeling better soon.

It seems to be coming in waves. I feel fatigued and chilled. Even so, I have to do the housework.
