How do you let go?

Losing someone so close to your heart is not easy. No matter how I say that its better that way and that my father is in a better place now. But the truth is, there is still this lingering feeling of mixed emotions. I often asked if his passing wasnt painful, was he ready to go at that time, if he was given the chance to extend his life would he so do?
It is not easy to be the ones who are left behind because I know these questions of mine will never be answered.
Time will ease these pain, until then I just hope He is indeed happy now.

Sorry to hear... It is never easy and sometimes time does make a difference of the pain but it will always hurt when you think of that person no matter how long it has been.

It does take some time to get over it but you will always have precious memories of your father

@dazzledlady to be honest. You won't be forgetting anything. But...make sure you remember the good memories..until then.. the pain will subside

I also l0st my dad m0re than a year ag0. And n0thing can compare h0w much painful it is t0 l0se him. I guess it starts when u accept it,.when u think that it is better this way than seeing them suffer. That they are in a better place n0w. And eventh0ugh they are physically g0ne,their presence stay in 0ur hearts f0rever.

For sure losing someone is hard but at least we can cherish the sweet memories we have with them.

@dazzledlady That person will forever be in your heart and memories. They will be happier on the other side if they see you are happy.
