I never miss a dislike button

We all write with reason to let others read and be impressed with our work.I remember a time when I was a member in a site had a dislike button and so somebody came and hit a dislike for an article that I wrote. I felt offended and asked him the reason for his actions and he told me that he really liked my ideas but my ways of putting them down was what he did not like.Even though a dislike button was there,I felt I did not deserve this kind of treatment for my hard work. I think this is the last button that I would wish to come across over again for it comes with it's own share of discouragement.

I didn't like that button on Bubblews - some nasty people would just go to everybody's post and press it just for the heck of it.

I remember in Bubblews we have serial dislikers who I think were out to malicious damage others passion of writing. But the best thing is they were not lucky with their fishy self as they were banned completely from the site.

There were some posts on that site which had thousands of like when the language usage should have given them thousands of dislikes.

I asked someone once why they hit the dislike button and it was because thye dislike what I wrote about not the post itself. That did not make any sense.

It's disgusting for anyone to do that. It's true that we all write with a good reason but for anyone to come up with dislike issues,I think this is not acceptable.

That is not nice to have a dislike button. Not everyone will agree with peoples work and vice versa.

It's true having a dislike button is not good because some people may after all use it maliciously.

I considered my dislikers before as blockers at present.

I think they are all the same because they do no want what's best for you but would rather weigh you down as you try to climb up the ladder and make a positive move. They are happy when showing you that your efforts are worthless.

@waflay I don't mind them. They are a menace in this site. They might think that it is funny or whatever intentions. I considered it as a sign of insecurity. I have a blocker in this site and she's an old lady. For such reason, I don't know what makes her blocked me. But, I never wanted to know. It is not worth to call her attention.

It might bring about more damage than good. How many of them out there would hit it with genuine thoughts? We would have more people abusing the dislike button if we had such an option.

It's hard to find people who are disciplined enough not to unnecessarily use this button.

@waflay True. It will only unnecessarily tempt people to misuse it.

I never used that button even I really didn't like a post. There is a professional way to do it. You can comment and suggest what is better or simply leave it. I use flag/report button when needed. ;)

I think this is the best thing to do because it may be that someone has gone through a lot of troubles to make a post only for someone to come and dash away the hopes of this person with a dislike. As writers we like positive thinking from our readers

I remember there are people on bubblews who dislikes for no reason because the initial reaction of the angry person who got a dislike is to comment on the article of the person who dislike them to ask them why. that comment gives profit to the disliker

I think there can be no valid reason for anyone who decides to dislike anybody's work.

It is somewhat disappointing if somebody will do that with one of your post. It might be the reason why there isn't one available around now.
