My shirt was inside out all along!

My shirt was inside out all along! It is one of those days where I did not check myself in the mirror before I left my house. I ran some errands this morning to the store, bank, post office, and the drive thru to get food... Obviously no one will notice my shirt while at the drive thru though. Anyway after lunch - my boyfriend asked if I wanted to go with him to the hardware store so he can get a part for the shower since he was installing the new waterpik power spray shower head. I agreed to go and before I went - I decided to check my hair and that's when I noticed my shirt was inside out! I asked him why didn't he tell me and he said he didn't notice either. And honestly, I wouldn't have noticed either - it's just a simple black shirt with lace in the back. I only noticed because of the tag was picking out from the back but it was covered from my hair. Have you ever had one of those days where you wore something inside out? Did someone point it to you or you noticed all on your own?

Yes, I have. I got up late one morning after a long night and dressed with my sweater inside out. I got up and dressed in the dark. Too much in a hurry to even turn the light on. I have to go through a check point with a security guard and then go up the elevator to the second floor. People all around. Luckily there is a mirror across from the elevator and saw the problem, Got right into the bathroom and took care of it. I was so embarrassed and hadn't even signed in yet.

When I used to work earlier than usually for over time. I just get ready and slap on some clothes because at work we have to wear a jacket anyway. Sometimes my socks wouldn't match and co-workers would be like did you get dressed in the dark? In reality I really did lol But luckily I wasn't out in public public!

I think the worst I can think of is when I wore two different colour but similar shoes to work.

@DeborahDiane I hope no one noticed much of it. But knowing me I'd tell people before they look and be like I know I know my shoes are not the correct one.

@valmnz - I work one black shoe and one navy blue shoe to work one time. I felt so silly when I realized, but there was nothing I could do until I got home!

Lol! I wore a sweater backwards to school where I taught. It had the pockets in the back, instead of the front. My aid pointed it out.

I have worn things buttoned wrong and discovered it after teaching three classes. My friend has a blue pair of shoes and a black pair of shoes and one day she discovered she had one of each on, again after teaching three classes!

Hehe did anyone notice her shoes. That's silly cute but maybe the colors were both dark so it wasn't as obvious I hope.

@teamfreak16 Wow she was brave. I would be a little nervous to speak up especially being a new hire + to tell my floater who was supervising the team - that his shirt was inside out

It happened to me before, but that's usually when I was at home. My husband is usually the one who pointed it out to me, or sometimes I just suddenly realized it. I don't always look at the mirror nowadays, I am just too lazy to do that, though I liked to look at myself in the mirror when I was younger. Sometimes I think even when others noticed it, it doesn't really matter to them, it's just us who care about this more.

sometimes if there is no tag its hard to notice. you can only notice if you have the seems visible. a lot of times I've worn my shirt backward with the tag in the front. the kind of printed on tag that's inside the shirt.

most recently I had my shirt on backwards. I couldn't figure out why it was so uncomfrotable. I felt so silly when I realized what I did. It was those times when you get dressed in the dark..

I have made this mistake at times to. It really isn't a big deal. I wouldn't even be embarassed if someone pointed it out to me. Sometimes like with this shirt if they are dark and the room is not real bright you might not notice which side is the wrong way. Spotting the tag is usually what gives it away.

Normally people do not alert you until unless a friend, relatives is with you, common man or unknown person does not care whether your shirt is in or out, even it is not a big issue to get noticed or informed.
