Did you notice that the MyLot bank updates differently now?

I know it's one of those changes that really makes no difference in the grand scheme of things. But did you notice that the MyLot bank updates earlier now than it did before? In my experience, it used to update at :18, or eighteen minutes after the hour. Sometimes it would skip an hour, and occasionally it would freeze for a few hours, but that's generally when it updated. I think it may have "crept" to :17 or even :16 for awhile, but now I notice it's updating even earlier, like :12. What difference does it make? Absolutely none, except those commenting like crazy to get over some imaginary "hump" at the end of a day or month might lose a penny or two until the next day. Why do I even care? Only because psychologists say "predictability" is healthy in our lives. It reduces anxiety, and therefore cortisol levels. I'll probably check it later today and see if the "new normal" really is :12. Buy then, I'll be sipping wine, so I don't oxidize. Call me a health nut. Did you notice the change?

I do keep track of how much deoxidizing I do. Long as I can grade papers, I'm OK.

@TheHorse There is one thing that I have noticed, the earnings pile up while I am sleeping. I work all the day and I go to sleep with about 50 cents, but in the morning the amount has doubled.

Used to be around :18. I think it's around :12 now. Doesn't make much difference, but it's something I noticed.

I have not noticed any change in how the moeny updates or what time as I could care less about that just so it does change now and then.

It usually updates once an hour. I like watching it change. Of course, I also like vacuuming and watching laundry go around and around in the dryer. Maybe I'm just easy to please.

I never pay attention to that. All I know it I have earned some from the morning to the night when I chekc it again, and before i retire for the night. I find that my bak moves faster, if I don't always look at it. I don't know why that is, but it just is. I do like to check each morning though, what I made the day before, so I know how well I am doing.

@TheHorse I watch mine too, and they do boil, so you are right, it isnt true that if you watch it, it wont boil, I don't know who ever said that, but they sure did get it wrong.

I didn't noticed the change. I on,y noticed the big changes why do you care I don't know maybe it just bothers you on some degree. My husband gets bothers by things like that as well. The car radio has to be done volume of 5s. I did noticed that it see,s to up date faster. The bank does. I can push calls see my bank growing as the hours go by.

Uhm no. I never actually thought of timing the updates. but yeah wow, you actually did that and that speaks a lot about your keenness on details. and "grand scheme of things" -- i really like this phrase.

I wonder if it's my training as a psychologist or my love of working with wood that makes me attend to details. Or something else. "Grand scheme if things" is kind of a cool, phrase. Not sure who I borrowed it from.

I can't work out the payments at all. Sometimes it goes up 2 cents then suddenly 16c. It seems to be pretty random. I know the 'day' switches at around 3 or 4 pm my time.

I think it still updates at or around XX:12. I can't even remember the history of Epinions updates, though I was there for years.

I haven't noticed the changes. I find it too slow to update as compared in the old version. However, I don't mind as long as I enjoyed participating in myLot.
