I was browsing latest news online and saw something that caught my attention. There has been a rumor that Walt Disney company will invest in the Philippines to build a Disneyland in Clark, Pampanga. I got excited with this news but looking more into it I read that these is not confirmed yet. But i think it would be exciting if they will pursue building up Disneyland in the country, it will open a lot of employment opportunity for the local community and will help promote Tourism in the country. Have you ever been to Disneyland? How was your experience?

I am not sure if I will want one. I am so sick of rice fields that should be providing food to the country being turned into malls, subdivisions and amusement parks knowing we have a food shortage crisis.

@abrielle28 Abandoned factories and buildings somewhere in Metro Manila would be more ideal. They can purchase those super old obsolete malls with near old buildings. Empty lots should be for either agriculture, housing and reforestation.

you have a point, that's why they need to build it in an open area without destroying fields or trees, and other place wherein there are other resources which people make for a living.

@CaptAlbertWhisker but i think manila is already sinking, not to offend or anything. Because the total population and number of structures already exceeds the carrying capacity of the city,if they will build another huge structure i don't know what will happen next. But it still up to the investors, hehe this is just my opinion.

@abrielle28 In a way, I did. But Ocean Park is bigger than Hong Kong. I heard that Shanghai Disney will be opened this year. It is the biggest Disney in Asia. However, it would be more exciting if we have it here in our homeland.

It seems like there are more and more Disneyland opening in Asia countries. I think it's good for many people in South East Asia if there is a Disneyland in Philippines. I haven't been to Disneyland before.

That's just rumor and if it happens, it might put enchanted kingdom out of business. or other theme parks like star city. well, good luck for them that is.
