I have started crafting small baskets that I will fill with chocolate eggs to donate to my friends and family for Easter. Here is the photo that I have taken of the first finished basket. I have used felt fabric in two different green colors for the basket. I have cut the decorations in different colors, to create the white fence, the flowers and the butterfly. Finally I have glued the decorations onto the basket. Are you crafting something for Easter?

How clever you are to do that, it looks lovely. I'm afraid I have no talent for crafting.

@LadyDuck wonderful craft work. Here people don't really get into baskets at Easter. Mostly they gift people with chocolate candy boxes and flowers. I used to love filling baskets when I lived in NYC. Here if you can find the makings for a basket or buying one it can get rather expensive plus you won't really find what to put in them. I simply love your basket.

I would love to steal your idea and make something similar for my youngest grandchildren. Your baskets are so cute and just perfect for Easter

They are not very difficult to make. Now I have to keep empty egg shells to make an "Easter Tree".

Okay Barry, I keep the basket and I send you the chocolate. Any preference? Dark, milk, white with hazelnuts?

My daughter and I decorate the house for every holiday. Easter is easy with baskets, eggs and bunnies. She comes up with a new craft each year, as she does the reading program at the library. She has a great job and its fun to read children's books, as she has to pick a couple of them to read to the kids.

@LadyDuck My daughter has me hanging on to egg shells, egg cartons and crayons. They have had a Lego Event at the library and I used K-mart Points to get free Legos. The cashier mentioned that she knows my daughter that was cool and the person behind me said she was using some of her points for the library event also. She laughed when I said I'm Mom and told me that I have to be hunting for stuff all the time.

I am looking around to find a nice branch to make my usual "Easter Tree". I am also keeping empty egg shells to paint so I can hang them to the tree.
