Ramblings of a Writer this Wednesday Morning

United States
March 9, 2016 9:33am CST
I sit, gazing out the window of this train, the sun peering into the lens of my glasses. Today, my commute is much different than my days held hostage to roads shared with raging morning attitudes on the paved roads. From this cushioned seat, I sleep, I rest, I spend time in my craft as writer with the undying hope I shall fall into that which brings contentment, away from the obligatory life I am thrusted into. I am not alone in the hope and belief that we are far more skilled, far more talented to simply exist where we stand and lay, or am I?

Life can seem like a non-stop rollercoster ride at times! I yearn for the moment of rest and peace.

@gudheart, I long for peace, it's my bed to lay on in this crazy, non-stop world of survival.

I like the part about obligatory and tried to apply it to just the writing part. This piece was so nicely written.

Hey @antonbunot, not sure about the "professional" part, but a writer nonetheless. Thank you for the kind words though.
