Trying To Establish Steady Income From Home

Honestly, I have stayed at home with my child his entire life. I know nothing else and either does he.
Bills keep piling in faster then I can keep up, and things are frustrating. I know I have to do something and fast.
The problem is I have no real experience to get out in the work place, and no time to get the training and work courses I would need to get a job flipping burgers let alone anything else.
On top of that I am a creative person, and have never been one to go with the crowd. Everyone goes one way, and you can usually find me running in the other so to speak.
I like being at home and my son does too.
I've been trying everything from blogging, freelance.
Now I'm trying selling, but again like everything else this isn't panning out for me either. I'm starting to think that I might just be unlucky in anything nd doomed to this financial debt forever.
I don't wanna give up this time, and am trying to look to the positive but I'm starting to see nothing but grey storm clouds.

I am not creative so I don't have suggestions along that line. I think there are real jobs that let you work from home but I don't know how to find them. I did read a suggestion to look for telecommute jobs as opposed to work from home jobs.
My aunt used to dog sit at her home while people went on vacation. I am not sure what she charged, but people were willing to pay more than to put their dogs in a kennel. There is a website that links dogsitters to customers.
My way to add to my income as a substitute teacher is to mystery shop. Today I will be reimbursed for gas that I have to buy anyway. Doesn't actually pay any money but saves me $20. I will also be reimbursed for a pizza and paid a $10 (American) fee on top of it. Tomorrow I will go to 4 convenience stores and go through a checklist of items (not exactly a mystery shop but an assignment from a mystery shopping company). Each of those pays $17. Throughout the month I make about $200 extra dollars and get about $200 reimbursed in things like gas, groceries, oil changes. Any way I will probably always mystery shop regardless of what else I do because it is just so flexible and plentiful and variable.
DogVacay offers home dog boarding with 5-star pet sitters near you. Includes 24/7 support & insurance!

I've been interested in Mystery Shopping but I'm leery to try. I know of girl who was recently scammed big time by doing this and I'm scared it might happen with me too. I will try to search Telecommute and see what I can come with.
I certainly need to do something to turn this all around.

@indiandevil Sadly there are scams. Real mystery shopping companies do not send big cheques to people and ask them to keep some for their "fee" and wire the rest somewhere. Was it that kind of scam?
the mystery shop forum has a list of reputable companies

Hello,
Why not try applying to online jobs, there are lost of site that you can registered then you can apply for work while you are taking care of your family. Internet now a day is very valuable, you can use your skills also if you are internet savvy. You can do data entry and research. Just try...thanks!

I've tried, most Data Entry that I found ask for money. So I know it's not legit. I've tried Surveys which I have gotten paid from. However, I'm finding most times I do not qualify so its not showing its worth my time. I've also tried. I've been looking around and checking out many different options.

It's good that you are a creative person. I have read many people or stay-at-home moms have set up their business at home. There are many information regarding this online, but there might be some scammed ones, so you have to be careful to find the trusted resources.
When I decided to quit my office job and stay at home to take care of my children, I have thought of ways that I might be able to earn from home. Setting up a home business, selling things online or being a home tutor might be good ideas, but I think it's good to have a business plan before we start it.
But, I have been busy with my children and also I am able to find some freelance jobs, so I still haven't really set up a business that sell things online yet.
Yes, don't ever give up. Be patient, start learning, and you'll be there soon!

I'm sure there are some jobs that would allow you work from home. Maybe look at some sites that help you find work, and you may be able to find something from home. Just look around, and see what you can find. There's something out there. Don't give up just yet.

This is just my suggestion. You may or not accept my proposal. Since you are a native speaker, there are so many websites that hire people for online teaching. You can teach English language to non-native speakers at home. I've been doing this for more than 2 years.

Hi Clara, glad you are looking for ways to increase your income, most of us do.
As many have said here, as a native English speaker you can teach English online, may not be easy at first but with time,if you have more clients, you can make good money.
Fiverr, Up work are places where you can offer your services.
Example I'm a blogger but non English speaker,l do outsource from up work.
Have you offered your services on your blog?let your readers know you are an article writer too and they can hire you should they need help?
There are different ways, what you need is patience
