@dazzlelady No, he has been dating young women for a year now . . . That is the reason why I decided to give this painting as a gift on his 56th birthday. So far he has not found the new lady of his life. He is picky, I guess . . or, maybe, the girls find he is not the type of a widower they are looking for! . . O, by the way, I suggest you should change your username to @dazzlinglady . . . . your beauty dazzles the roving eyes of men and me.

@Shavkat Thanks. . . Been painting since high school. It was an obsession when I was young. Even when I was managing an insurance agency (Philamlife) in our province, I always tried my best to find time to co-manage with my wife our photography/art studio. I never had a formal art-training . . but I was a professional sign-artist, photographer, and artist back home.

@SIMPLYD No, I did not attend art school. I am a Bachelor of Arts graduate with English and Science as my major and minor respectively. I started learning how to draw and paint in high school (seminary). After graduation I worked at Philamlife's branch office in Ilocos . . and 2 years later learned photography from a photographer-friend. Eventually, I started a photo-art studio (t-shirt printing, photography, and signboard painting). watercolor/acrylic/oil painting is my hobby. I learned to paint by myself. . .

@TiarasOceanView . . Thanks, my friend. O, yeah, he likes it! The problem with my friend is he is dating 20-something your women and he is 56. He should go for older ladies! But I am not suggesting anything to him as far as his wooing of women is concerned. He is (very) old enough to decide on his own!

@destimona I came from a very poor family . . I did not have toys when I was a kid . . not even pair of shoes. I spent most of childhood helping at home and learning things . . that was how I found out that I could draw and paint.

@Cintronwriter . . I framed it. I did the framing myself. I a learned how to frame art pieces and pictures. I got the tools (mat cutter, mitre saw, and joiner). I also have a glass cutter for watercolor and drawings. In fact, I started a home business on art framing, but I decided to discontinue coz of my full time job as a casino slot tech.
