Fighting Writer's Block

Lately, I have had writer's block. It's not just that I could not find something to write about but I was not really interested. I just felt blah and knew I could never again write a sentence that anyone would care about. Two solutions are all I needed to get myself going forward again.
The first is talking to my best friend. We always end up telling each other outrageous stories. One of us starts by saying, "Do you remember the time when we ...? Then we just keep it going by adding details until we are laughing hysterically.
The other thing is daydreaming. I always got in trouble doing it in school but it is great for coming up with a writing topic.
How do you combat writer's block?

I don't honestly ever have it. I just free flow writing. It may not be any good and may require editing, but I never stuck for something to write.

I forgot about free flow writing. I had to do it for English classes. My teachers called it stream of consciousness writing.
It can get pretty weird because you just write for a period of time without worrying about content, spelling/errors, or grammar. I will try that. I used to come up with some strange ideas. Thanks for reminding me.

I can understand well ... sometimes, I will sit, think about what affects me most in life, write.

One way is looking at old pictures on my computer. There's usually a story associated with each. But I'm pretty "easy." Your keyboard photo reminded me that I want to do a post about which letters are wearing away on my keyboard, and why.

Well do you remember the time when we were in the Civil War together? I forget which one of us were in the South and which one in the north. I had to make fires to cook on and you had to find meat. Otherwise, we would have starved. lololol

I sometimes keep a mental list or even a tangible list of thoughts or impressions that I store away for a point when I have more time to write or think about them. When I want to write, the list is waiting for me.
