I Have Cancer

I have lung cancer and when I was first diagnosed (2014) I went through radiation treatments and my hair that was very thick became thin, I was lucky though and I didn't lose all my hair.
I went to the hairdresser on Thursday and asked her to cut and style my hair which she did and she said to me I can't believe how thick your hair is.
I have an appointment the end of this month to see the Pulmonologist (lung doctor) but before I see him they will do an xray to see if there is still a spot there on my right lung.

It is good your hair is growing so thickly Marcy even despite your diagnosis.
You are a great fighter and I know you keep going strong.

I don't know what to say Marcy. I am shocked. I know you have given me a second chance...and feel so much love for you - you know I am not lying because every time I come across your comment or post, I am reminded how nice you have been to me. Love you Marcy...more because of your forgiving nature. Hugs.

I hope that spot is gone. My sister in law had surgery last week to remove a stage 1 spot. She is in pain but its gone and she is still breathing. So grateful for medical miracles. Sending healthy thoughts your way.

Thanks and glad she is doing better. I was not a candidate for surgery because of another lung condition.

@PainsOnSlate glad to hear your sister-in-law had the spot removed and she is okay. I had a mole/lump removed last year and it was a little painful but nothing I couldn't deal with. At least I was happy to hear it wasn't cancer.

I do hope you get well.. I have heard of many who have got free from cancer and serious health problems with good nutrition and food supplements and my own health has become a lot better with right nutrition. Dr Robert O. Young is recommending alcaline food to avoid most healt problems, so we can do a great deal when we know how to do it. Please let us know how you are doing!

@Marcyaz Great! You might be healthy already, as your hair is growing a lot. I think you are getting enough of minerals..

I hope the tests come back negative. I have also heard where one loses his or her hair and when it grows back, it comes in different than it was before, but I'm glad it is thick again.

I also hope the tests come back free and clear. Yeah my hair had thinned out a lot but now it is back and growing thick again.

I pray there is not a spot there @Marcyaz . Thankfully there are so many new ways of killing cancer cells without severe damage to the organs themselves.

I could use more hair. I'm glad that yours is doing so well despite your cancer.
Aside from the hair I hope your health improves much more!

I worked with a fellow who had a red line down his arm and we made him go to to emergency. They did find it in time and it was contained.

@Marcyaz That's good. Not knowing is much harder.
I can't say anything on the cancer front, but two years ago I had blood poisoning and it was scary not knowing whether it was contained or not. Of course, it was an early stage, but there was an angry red line of bacteria marching through my blood down my leg.
