PC Rental

This is a continuation of my previous post.
I had to meet my (self-imposed) quota before going out of the internet cafe. I had already computed beforehand how much I should earn that day. I was thinking, I had to earn even just enough to cover my expenses - fare, food and rental expenses, but it would be much better if I could exceed that.
While inside the bus, I was already thinking of spending until around 7 or 8 in the evening there in Baguio just to earn enough. I was also thinking of finding an internet cafe with pc rental of around 10 to 15 pesos per hour only. I think the rate at the city near my hometown is 30 pesos per hour. That is also one of the reasons why I decided not to go there in that city. If I will stay there for how many hours, I might be spending more than my potential earning.
I am glad I was able to find one, the first one that I had seen, and they are charging 15 pesos per hour (around US$0.32). And they had a promo, 50 pesos ($1.07) for four hours. I chose that.
How much is the pc rental at your place?

I have never had to RENT a pc before. If a person needs to use a computer, they can go to a local library and use one FREE of charge. I have a friend who does that all the time.

@IreneVincent No, we don't have it in my hometown. I am not sure if there are PCs in the library at the other town here in my province.

Here they go for about 0.01$ per hour and they are so many. Their competition becomes customers advantage lol

Wow! I'd rather go to an internet cafe if that's the price here. Hihihi
Yup, competition is really advantageous to customers.

we are charged P10 per hour here, hija, so far from the P30 there. that is for an hour. when we have no net at home due to power outage, I just make my articles on the phone, but that was during the bubbling regime.

Hmmm I also write articles on my phone Ate, even until now that we are here in myLot. After typing, I transfer it to my tablet and I submit those articles using my tablet.
Sometimes, I comment on my tab, but right now, I am on my laptop.

Oh, okay. I cannot just use my phone in working. It can't handle multi tasking as needed in my job.

Hmmm yes. I remember when I was in college, we used to rent PCs at P40 to P50 per hour.

Yes, it is a little cheaper now than before. But the internet cafe at the city here in my province still charges 30 per hour. Well maybe they are paying expensive rental for their space inside the mall.

I think it's 10-15 pesos here in my area and they have promos during weekends and weeknights that's why kids prefer to rent their PCs during those times.

Hmmm yes, there are promos too. At the internet shop where I rented, they are open 24 hours and they have a promo of 10 hours for 100 pesos but that is during night time.

Oh yes, sometimes it is better if they charge per minute, because sometimes we can't consume the entire hour browsing.

Its been ages since I rented a PC. Have you tried using your own pocket wifi instead? You could have it anywhere and saves more in my opinion.
Great photo of the Panagbenga Festival!
