It is so alarming that text messages are becoming a scam. I had received a message that I won a million peso. The instuctions were given in the message. I need to send some amount of money to a bank account. Once I read this, I knew it is another scam. I had also seen some local news that these scammers had victimized so many innocent souls. They were not able to determine the bad intentions. In some point, this kind of scam is also widely spread in emails. I had also received some of these scam messages especially when started participating in myLot. I had once fall into misery when someone tried to hack my paypal. Some people are trying to deceive people and cannot even have the guilt of doing it. Have you ever experienced this?

@Shavkat but there are still some who are being scammed. Usually they ask you for prepaid load cards. Most of their victims are elderlies with relatives abroad. They would tell you that the number being used is their new roaming number. They will talk to you as if they were your real relatives and later on ask you to send load.

@LdeL03018 Exactly! It is obviously not a perfect scheme to fool other people.

I experienced this also. But it was not 1 Million I won but a brand new Starex van. The catch is, the van is in Cebu and I have to give 50,000 pesos. lol. it is a hoax!!! hahaha. They want me to remit the money but I told them I will pay in the banck, after that they're gone. lol

I had also received scam texts and emails.
I just ignore those scam texts but with the email, I had exchanged emails with the sender even if I knew it was only a scam. But I think I was not good in pretending that I am interested with the money. LOL

I get such mails rather than SMS very often.
Some are job offering who demand money in exchange.
They think I am fool.

@TiarasOceanView It is so lame to make someone win of something. They are just cheating themselves, too.
